Hey, guys,
It is only today that it clicked in my mind. I just realized how useful Puppy is in terms of protection from identity theft. What happens if some one breaks into one's house and steals a computer, or a colleague digs in one's files while the owner is on vacation. With Puppy on the USB thumb drive, let them dig as much as they want - all my info is on my key chain.
Isn't is cool?
PS One just need to be careful enough not to lose the USB thumb drive! :-)

The multisession DVD is quite a nice way of doing that as well.

A couple of guys (kirk and PaulBX1) on the developer forum at http://www.puppyos.net/forum have been working on code for automatically encrypting the pup_save file, so even if you lost your USB key it would be hard for anyone to recover the info inside the pup_save. They reckon it's about ready to go, so you could head over there and test one of their versions for them :)
