How to get external monitor working on laptop
Greetings,
Yesterday I picked up using puppy after about a 5 year break. I find puppy more than enough for my application which is writing a simple book on scientific programming for my organization. So far I have managed to get everything working with racy including a C++ compiler except I can't seem to get my external monitor to work. Could it be that I don't have the nvidia drivers loaded? I can't seem to find the instructions since the main message board is down. Any suggestions? Thanks. version of puppy: racy 5.2.2 laptop: HP 8440p Graphics Card: NVIDIA 320M puppy install method: 16 GB USB thumb drive |
there are some drivers available here-
CatDude's NVidia Driver Pet packages]] (user: puppy pass:linux) Shinobar's NVidia Driver SFS packages]] I would suggest using the Wary packages for racy. |
i would try it out in win to rule out a possible h/w issue
