How do you install the nvidia-glx-96 drivers into Puppy 4.1?

I notice a lot of distros have upgraded to the new 2.6.27.7 kernel. Does the new Puppy 4.1 have this? If not how would I install the nvidia-glx-96 driver which works really well on my older system? Thanks.

you make sure you have the devel.sfs and the kernel.sfs and then go to slackbuild.org and get the package build it the type tgz2pet NvidiaFilexxxxx.tgz it turns into a pet then install then kill the xserver and type nvidia-xconfig and then rebbot or type xwin. I would reboot.
puppy linux is a slackware based system.
2.6.25 is the latest puppy kernel and you can use the nvida kernel from nvidia. 2.6.27 needs a nvidia kernel patch thak slackbuild has put in the scripts.
