Have existing suse 10.0 install on laptop, want to install puppy over it

I have a dell latitude laptop that is dual boot with win98se and suse 10.0. I have used puppy with it more than I use suse primarily because the puppy ndis wrapper works well with my realtek 8185 pcmcia card and I have not been able to get it to work with suse. I have never done a hard puppy install and would like to know if puppy will detect and overwrite my existing suse partition and write a new grub loader? I read that puppy comes with gparted. Are there any issues I need to be aware of with installing puppy? Also, has anyone been able to use a realtek pcmcia card with ndis wrapper in suse 10.0 and if so, what version of ndis wrapper was used?

I installed Puppy on a HDD that had Fedora and Windows on it, overwriting Fedora, without a single problem.

GParted recognised the Linux partitions and the Puppy installation went straight into the same space.

GRUB was overwritten and, apart from Windows doing a filesystem check on the first boot, everything went just fine.

Ok, I will give it a try. I am going to use the game optimized puppy since it comes with the ati drivers. I tried that version of puppy on a box with an nvidia card and the driver install went well.
