Will somebody PLEASE explain just what are the DIFFERENCES between "Puppy" and "Dog" Linuxes?
For instance, as an example,FossaDog64 and FossaPup64. It seems that with my feeble mind, I'm
not sure. Thank you very much.
Basically, the default packages. FossaPup has JWM w/ Rox Filer and Palemoon browser. FossaDog is designed for more recent/higher spec machines and has Openbox running Tint2 w/ pcmanfm and Firefox browser. Both use the same Ubuntu 20.04 as their core to build from.
Old thread by now, I know.....but FWIW, the simplest way might just be drop fredx181 a line, and ask him. He IS the creator/curator/maintainer of the "Dogs", after all.....
Mike.
