Consistent partition name ?

I have found that Puppy is not consistent in the names that it assigns to partitions.

Is there a way to have it assign a consistent name ?

For instance, this script copies to an external drive.

But sometimes it is sdb1 instead of sdc1.

cd /root/Scripts
zip -u Puppy_5.9.3_Bash_Scripts.zip *.sh
cp Puppy_5.9.3_Bash_Scripts.zip /mnt/sdc1/Linux_Files

Use a 'Label' or the disks 'ID' instead of an auto assigned designator.

I know how to give it a label.

Then what do I do ?
