Change store directory for ScanGear

Is there a way to change the dir where ScanGear saves it's scans ?

My scanner is a Canon MG 2220.

ScanGear is a Microsoft TWAIN .dll driver
as i recall it is in ( this was on XP )
C:\\WINDOWS\twain\scangear

and the MS windows save folder should be ( from memory )
C:\\users\YourName\My Documents\My Pictures\
C:\\Documents and Settings\YourName\My Documents\My Pictures\

I was referring to Linux.

It currently saves to root, but I want to change that.

are running it under WINE ?

if it saves in /root

then DO NOT run it as the root user
running any GUI program as root is normally a bad idea

Not running under Wine.

Slacko Puppy defaults to root.

Though they have 2 restricted user accounts.
