One of the ways we like to 'install' apps into Puppy these days is by increasingly making use of AppImages where possible. Think Windows PortableApps; this is the Linux equivalent.....a single, usually statically-compiled binary containing absolutely everything required for the app to run & be fully-functional.
Libre Office has, like so many other projects, now gone 64-bit only. There are AppImages available, usually from the same reliable 'third-party' individual who specifically takes the source code and creates 'run-anywhere' packages for the community. The web-site is endorsed by the LibreOffice team, so is 'official', and can be found here:-

Just download; make executable - run
.....on the AppImage, followed by clicking on it to run it. Couldn't be simpler.....and, unlike some AppImages, which are just re-packed .debs or .rpms which still expect to find a bunch of installed system dependencies, the L.Office AppImages have been done
properly, are truly self-contained, and will run anywhere.
