LQ Ubuntu logo too outdated
I have found that the Ubuntu logo LQ uses to identify Ubuntu users is the pre-Lucid logo

I have noticed that, when I look at my posts and look in the bottom left corner of them, I see a pre-Lucid Ubuntu logo even though I'm using the Maverick Meerkat. Is there any way LQ's logo can be updated?

The logo we use is simply the generic Ubuntu logo. We have no plans to add version-specific disto logos at this time.

So no new Arch logo, either? The current one here on LQ doesn't match the current one for the distribution.

In my opinion LQ should autodetect what version of a distro you have and adjust the logo accordingly rather than just have either the updated or outdated logos.

Good point. The Windows logos already do this: there are distinct logos for Win95/98/NT/2000, WinME, WinXP/2003, WinVista, and Win7.

The Ubuntu logo has been updated to the one in the Canonical Branding Guidelines.
