Receiving many subscription emails even with email disabled?
Continue to receive 'instant notification' emails for thread updates
In an effort to reduce clutter in my inbox, I disabled the email notifier for LQ - I still receive 5-10 emails a day as 'instant notification' for site activity though. I cannot find any other setting in the LQ CP to disable - I have unchecked/disabled every email option (including ones that I assume are innocuous like 'Receive email from administrators' or 'Receive email from other users') and still continue to receive email notifications. Either I'm missing a setting somewhere or something doesn't seem to be working as it should.
I've confirmed your email settings should result in no email. Note that any emails already queued before you changed the setting will still be sent. There are currently no emails queued for you - can you let me know if you get an email after this post?
