Search disappears in Android 7 & 8
Search function inoperative on Android
The "Search Forums" feature doesn't work in Firefox on my Nexus 9 tablet. Latest Firefox, Android-7.1.1. When I press the 'Search' tab, the dialogue comes up. I press on a textspace to locate the cursor, and the dialogue vanishes. This it's true for different lengths of keypress. If I go back to the search option, the process repeats exactly.
I tried it on my Samsung S7 Edge - Exactly the same. Android-8.0.0 this time
