Of course we can help you with your script, no problem whatsoever, but help means you'll have to put in the big part first and tell us what you already have and where it's failing or what's missing. Also it's always a good idea to mention your platform (distro, version). So post what you already have and we'll take it from there. You say shell script, are you referring to Bash, Korn, ...? Do you already know the basics of a scripting language?
