Write makefiles for QT applications without tmake


I'd like to know whether is possible (or at least practicable) to write makefiles without using Trolltech's tmake tool If so, please give me some links where I can find any information about it

But is there anyway to solve the MOC dependencies using autotools? (I would like to know as well )
