Windows iPAQ communicate with Linux PC

Hi all!
My project has another thing that I have to do: write a GUI on iPAQ using Windows. When I write the program using eMbedded C++ 4.0, and in my program, the items I choose can be received by the main program on Linux so that the following steps can be done. So, how can I do for the program in Linux so that the items I select in iPAQ can be accepted by PC?
Thanks!
