when i use ifc 8.0 ,i meet the following problem


forrtl: info: Fortran error message number is 24.
forrtl: warning: Could not open message catalog: ifcore_msg.cat.
forrtl: info: Check environment variable NLSPATH and protection of /usr/lib/ifcore_msg.cat.


how do i know what exactly the eerro 24 is .

and i have check the file ifcore_msg.cat , there is a lock on his icon ,but i loged in as root.
and i want to modify it property . but its was gray , i can not modify it.


what exactly this ifcore_msg.cat is .
