What do i change to make my Lt WinModem perform in Open Source like it in MS Win98SE?
This link is what I get using Microsoft Windows 98 Special Edition and a Lucent LT V.92 WinModem > http://new.mweb.co.za/help/thruput/t...=4.52&t2=10.15
Now what I want to do is hack the code of the current package from linmodem.org to make the modem throughput faster in Linux and FreeBSD. So which variable do you think I need to change? |
To be frank, what I think you need to do first is replace your operator with one
who has some understanding of the history of winmodems in Linux. Next I suggest that you check out http://www.linux-gamers.net/modules/...d=1433&forum=4 http://www.linuxmafia.com/faq/Essays...questions.html http://www.linuxsilo.net/docs/smart-questions_en.html or just google "ask questions the smart way" and make your own selection. |
