Question Visualize cpu, memory etc usage for Linux serve using Html5, Css3, Javascript


Hello

Any tutorials on how i can get a real time value of cpu, ram usage and display it using html5, css3, javascript like a guage ...... ?

or i must use php for this?

Found a ton of charts on Google but no info on how to implement a linux metric on them....

If you don't want to write this yourself you can use glances in webserver mode:

# glances -w

This will create a local service you can browse to which will have cpu and mem info.

glances looks like a perfect suggestion to me...

Does glances (in server mode) provide a means to display history ?. I only use it locally in curses mode as a top replacement.
pydash may indeed be worth looking at.
