Usb hid device

Hi, I've developed a simple usb device with a Microchip pic 18f4550 as told in the website "waiting for friday". Now I would like to use this under Gnu/Linux. But I didn't find an hid host application working.

This may not help with your query, but looking at the range of devices on your web page you may find this site helpful:

www.ttylinux.org/
www.minimalinux.org/forum/

"ttylinux" is an extremely minimal system which you might find useful for one of your projects. It is hosted on the minimalinux.org site and shares the forum.

Douglas is the maintainer for "ttylinux", and Maurice has been talking about trying to shoehorn a development system into an unbelievably small space.

Was the microcontroller recognized as a HID device?

Not sure what you mean by this statement. I assumed that you would need to create your own application since all the software was written for windows.

The microcontroller was recognized as an hid device by ubuntu. The problem is that the software to control the hardware is only for windows !
