URGENT: regarding getspnam_r() method usage

Hello All,
I am calling method getspnam_r() and the memory leak tool points to this method as memory leak is happening over here.

struct spwd *getspnam_r(const char *name, struct spwd *result, char *buffer, int buflen);

do I need to free the members of struct spwd - char* sp_namp and char* sp_pwdp manually. I am getting memory leak error for this call.

Please help me to know do I need to free the members forcibly ?

Thanks !
