Question unixODBC connection debugging

How can I debug a connection with unixODBC?

It it possible to force it to log messages to a file or something? I guess it's possible to set it at the odbc.ini file, right?

This is my odbc.ini file:
Code:
[ODBC Data Sources]
Smile=DB de Smile

[Smile]
Driver=/opt/sybase/SYBSsa9/lib/libdbodbc9_r.so
Username=x
Password=y
CommLinks=tcpip
ServerName=192.168.0.3

[ODBC]
InstallDir=/opt/sybase/SYBSsa9/drivers
