unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference

hello guys

i am frequently seeing this ERROR....

ERROR** unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 0000000

can anybody give a example and EXPLAIN or tell me why this happens ..

Please explain the context. When and where are you seeing this error? Are you launching a program that is displaying this error? Is yes, which one?

i am writing a TCP server in kernel and i guess its happening when i do sock->ops->accept ...when there is a Request from the client --- sock->ops->connect
