hi,
can anyone tell me hw many TSS are there in linux in a uniprocessor system??? currently i m reading Linux Kernel Internals ..... at some places they specifies like "TSS of Current Process" , bt wt i read somewhere that initially linux was supporing TSS per process, bt that has some drawback like maximum no. of process that can be run was 500. so they removed it and made it per CPU one TSS ... bt wt z there exactly ??? plz help me... tks in advance.
