starting linux


Hello, again looking for help, If I want a program to be started just when linux is starting, (a starting greeting for example a banner saying welcome ), where do I have to put it? Thanks.

ummm.. wrong forum but just add it in your bootup scripts.. usually somewhere in /etc/rc.d
