Software for tutorials or scripts ?


Hello !
I wanna use some software to make tutorials .
I need something to put my keys i use it on capture image or video .
First i try to this code lines:

 xwininfo |  grep "id:" 
xwininfo: Window id: 0x3e00006 "net@acasa:~"
And use some script :

import -window import...
Is a good ideea ?
Is another way to make this more simple ?

For professional results you should consider using plain screenshots of image components and then assembling animations in some animation software. Takes longer, but gives more predictable results and is easier to modify afterwards.

I use XV to grab windows.
