Serial Comm for J2me/CDC on embedded Linux

Is there any third party Java Communication API (for the serial comm) available for the J2me CDC profile (running on the embedded Linux platform) ?
If not, how do I write the serial comm module on the J2me/CDC? Using JNI? or any other methods?
