Sendmail Bounce Development

I am currently creating a newletter management system using php/mysql and sendmail as my mail server.

The problem I am facing is:

How do you handle newsletters (emails) that are bounced back to me. Ideally I would like to notify the administrator that X% of their addresses bounced and indicate which ones could be deleted because of this.

Any suggestions to accomplish this?

A.
