Segmentation fault error on schema validation using xmllint

Hi,

I am validating my XML with the schema using xmllint. When I do this I got the Segmentation fault error.

Below is the code I used to validate xml (in Mac osX).

xmllint --noout --schema /Applications/CenDoc/cendoc.xsd /Users/premedia/Desktop/CEngage/ExportXML/XML/final/ToExport.xml

Can anyone help me on this.

Thanks,
Gopal

It sounds like you found a bug in xmllint. Try updating to the latest version (2.9.0), if that doesn't help (or you are already using the latest version) then you should report the bug here. You should include the schema and XML file you used to cause the crash (preferably as small as possible, ie remove everything that doesn't cause the crash).

Oh sorry, I forgot to mention that xmllint comes with libxml2, it's basically a sample utility program to exercise the library. The download page for libxml2 is here.

You are aware of the fact that this is not an iCrap or modBSD (OS10) forum, aren't you?
