Angry Segmentation Fault

I am getting a strange error in building the psftp binary from the putty source...
here is what i have done : (using FC2)
1.) moved onto the unix directory of the putty.
2.) the issued the command : make -f Makefile.gtk psftp

The error message says "Segmentation Fault".
can anybody help me out of this?
Regards,
Monojit Datta.

you need to run the command inside gdb to see where it's dying. just saygin "segmentation fault" is never going to be of use. i'd wonder why you're bothering though really... why not just use the standard sftp client in ssh?
