I would like to make yast like Menu in Shell Script, which could also use data repository. My problems are
1)how to make Sub-menu from Menu (as like yast)

Does anyone suggest basic guidlines for these...
Thanks

Do you mean a graphical or text mode menu?

1. Use ncurses for the text mode user interface

2. Find a database that's appropriate for your needs and learn how to use it (this could include everything from writing your own flat file, using mysql or tapping into the RPM database that Yast2 uses)

3. The "submenus" would be invoked by your program (quite likely, a C program).
