script for wireless

Hey there,
I need some guideline (probably a sample source code ) on how to construct a shell script which will enable a wireless network to handoff to other wireless network (just as I had setup in the quality link). Please refer to the flow chart below.

It isn't a homework but it is a case study for education that i have been working through. Therefore, i appreciate if you could advice me on this.

Ahh ok... You could always use the normal commands, and go from there. ifconfig, iwconfig, etc... You could use grep and sed to extract the needed information out. Do you have any code figured out yet?
