script every hour click link

My ISP turns my connection off after about 1/2 hour of downloading. Then I have to disconnect and reconnect my adsl router by clicking the link at:

http://10.0.0.138/dial.htm
disconnect:
javascript:submitForm(document.dial, 6);
connect:
javascript:submitForm(document.dial, 5);

I was hoping anyone could tell me anything about how to get a (Linux) script to automatically do this every 20 minutes or so.

I am pretty sure something like this would be able to do what you are looking for.

Write the script that sends the string to the page, then just add that to your crontab. In fact, you might even be able to do the whole thing in just a single command in the crontab file, and not even need a script.

Not to sure about crontab tutorials, what I learned I gleaned from some books I had and the man pages.

As for Slackware, the Slackware Book is always a great resource, as well as the Slackware forums here on LQ, where there are many helpful guides and topics posted.
