Question running shell scripts using Java


I need to run a Linux shell script which is an interactive one using Java code. I can run d script in a new terminal but it returns back immediately to my application without waiting for any interactive i/o at d terminal. please help

Are you preposing to run a shell script that uses java code? That doesn't work. Please provide more detail.
