Question RS 232 & Handshake


Hello,

I need to write a simple program in C for comunicate a device with my computer using the RS-232 interface with Handshaking protocol.
Anybody could help me?

Hi Hugo,

what kind of handshaking do you need? XON/XOFF or Hardware?
I suggest that you become familiar with the man page of 'termios' - tcflow is the call you might be looking for for XON/XOFF.

Feel free to come back here with more details of your problem.
