rio 500 MP3 player via USB

I have to configure a Rio 500 MP3 player via USB to my Linux computer. Under my BSB directory I do have the USB Rio 500 listed. Now what do I do from here. I am not getting any good information on any websites. Do I need to mount anything?????I am very knew at this so this concept is very foreign to me. I hope someone can help me.

i found some good info on the rio 500 at these sites, particularly the second one. they have a utility that lets you access the mp3 player, and mess around with the folders, ect. this should be enough to get it working.

I installed the Grio500 s/w , but It cannot find my usb player....I don't know what to do next. does anyone know??? thanks
