remove the "Run or Display?" when I execute a script

I am running Redhat 9 using KDE.

How do i remove the "Run or Display?" window from popping up whenever I run a script. I says ""myScript" is an executable text file. Do you want to run it, or display its contents?"

Is there a way to set this as a default in my script so this window wont pop up again? Thanks for ur help.

What kind of script is it?
How are you running the script?

I suspect that if you run the script from the cli you won't have this program.

Have you included the #!/bin/bash line to identify the interpreter to be used?

it's a basic script
using #!/bin/bash
and then to exec a file
Just like making a shortcut to run a file on the linux desktop as in Windows shortcuts on its desktops.

If all your script is doing is executing another program you could create a launcher (like a windows shortcut) that runs the program directly or if you want to run the script and stop it prompting you create a launcher to run the script. At least that's what I do using Gnome, I assume other desktops must have something similar.

I don't know about KDE but using Gnome I right click on the desktop and from the wee menu that pops up select "Create Launcher"
