reboot system and continue from where it left

hi,

i am working on qf-test tool(Testing tool).
which allows me to write shell scripts.
i want to know is it possible to write script to reboot the system(from one of my test case) and
launch my qf-test tool and continue (from next test case) from where it left.

if yes, please help me.

You can write a temporary file, where you can keep track of your current state. The shell script will proceed after reading this file.

... and if you want to automate that, add the script to /etc/rc.local or whatever the equiv on your distro is.
