Question questions about automake


hello.

I want to install automake on my kubuntu but there are 4 versions available.
Witch version to install?

It's maybe an idiots question but it's hard to make a choice.

Actually there are 5 ... there are so many because they're not backward-compatible.

The one I got by default with debian sarge is 1.4, so I think that's a good conservative bet
