Question about MPI programming


When I type command : mpif90, it shows "command not found", what's the problem? Thank you!

I use "whereis mpif90", there is no record.what should i do?

echo $PATH
this is the path that is searched in for executable programs when you do not specify an absolute path.. is the program you are trying to run in one of those.. if not you will need to either copy it into one of those dirs or add the dir it is in to the end of the path..

whereis only checks in the path

oh..thanks a lot! But I dont find mpi90 in the "bin" dictionary of mpi. How to install that?

are you serious?

goto the mpi homepage and read the docs.. that would be a start..

I know what's wrong.
First, I don't have fortran 90 compiler at all.
Second, after I install the fortran 90, I should configure the mpi with"./configure --enable-f90=F90_COMPILER "

Then that's ok. Thanks a lot!
