Qt Environmental Variables Slackware?

where do you set the environmental variables for Trolltech Qt 4.4.0?

can you please provide paths, and filenames?

thank you...

btw, i have a forum complaint to make, you can't search for "Qt", there is a 3 letter minimum restriction.

Which variables exactly? 4.3.0 didn't have to use any environmental variables, just ./configure && make , make a package, install a package.

You can write shell script that sets any environment variables you need, and put that script into /etc/profile.d/ folder. This script will be executed automatically at some point during system startup (read startup scripts to find out at which point exactly it is being executed). There are also other places/ways in Linux where/how you can specify environment variables.

You can. Use site:www.linuxquestions.org Qt request in Google. Read "advanced google search operators" plus general google search tips, it helps.

As I said, write a script and put it into /etc/profile.d. See other scripts in /etc/profile.d for an example how to add environment variables.
