python -> web browser with multiple tabs

i'm new in python and i want to create a web browser with pygtk and webkit.
i know the basics of creating a web browser with webkit and i did it.i was wondering how can i add the ability of having multiple tabs, like what we see in modern web browsers like firefox and question is do i have to use threading for having this feature ?

What you want is a gtk.Notebook. This will provide the tabs for you, and you place a new webkit view inside each one. Since GTK is callback-based, you should not need threading.
