Programmer needed! ^_^

Hi. I'm Tempy, and me and some friends have started an open-source game project with a casual philosophy of friendly discussion. Unfortunately, none of us can program beyond the console, so we need someone with a bit more experience to manage the technical aspects of our game. We'll help you out, but you'll be a worthwhile voice even if you can't offer all that much.

Ideally, our head programmer would have experience with SDL or another cross-platform multimedia library, but we're willing to consider anyone. And even if you can't program at all, pop by anyway; your ideas will help us too.

Maybe consider learning SDL? It's not very hard...

Hi Temperanza,

I'm a beginner programmer, I'm programming a OpenGL/SDL game in C. It's still useless and buggy, but you can walk around in a world and I have multiplayer . You can download it at http://members.home.nl/openlinuxsite/3Dworld.tar.gz

I also know about ssobeth, he's writing an SDL sidescroller game name "luciferino". Take a look at his website: http://luciferino.sourceforge.net/.

I don't have much time, unfortunately, so I definitely can't help a lot. My C is not very good, and I can hardly program with other programming languages. My knowledge of SDL and OpenGL is very limited. But I think we can help eachother. Oh, besides: your link doesn't work...

Cheers,

Sterrenkijker
