printf in bold in KDE Terminal?

Hi all,

I would like to printf in bold in my KDE terminal (where my c++ program runs). On the linux console I would simply use "\033[1m" for this, but that does not work in the KDE terminal. How can I printf in bold in the KDE terminal?

Thanks,
Michael

I'm using "\033[1m" in bash scripts/makefiles and run them in konsole. They work fine.
Can there be a problem with escaping some characters?

Hi!

The problem is that KDE Terminal != Konsole.

All the best,
Michael
