have an user interface with TCL-TK...there when a button is pressed I want some Commands to get executed in the Shell.....Is there any way to do that????plzzzz

I have some PHP pages which I want to keep in a web server where frm some users can access it using LAN....is it possible using CGI????can anybody plz give some basic idea about this...Actually I have started preparing CGI-BIN...

please use useful thread titels in future. "plz help" says nothing whatsoever about the problem you are having.

most php sites on the web or in local nets are scripts presented by a web server e.g. apache that is compiled with PHP. Take a look at documentation at php.net, apache.org. Most linux distributions come with lamp system including apache and php more or less out of the box. but we dont know which distro you are using... So if you tell us a bit more precisely we can help you better,
