Unhappy Please help me with VB6


hi every body
i wanna use visual basic 6 in linux.can anyone help me do that?
does VB 6 have debian version?

Per the LQ rules, you should start a new thread if you're asking unrelated questions. Don't do so now, however, as I've reported your post and the moderators will split it into a new thread.

As for your question, did you try googling first? This may be helpful, as well as this. You could try Mono, as mentioned in the second link. Out of interest, why do you want to use Visual Basic on Linux? You could also look into using more "portable" languages, toolkits, etc.

Linux Version

There is a linux version of Visual Basic called Gambas. In Ubuntu you can install this with the "Ubuntu Software Center" under the keyword "gambas" In other Linux distros you can download it from http://gambas.sourceforge.net/en/main.html.

Don't use VB6 try to learn a new language like Python which is better and easy to learn.
