please help me in compiling a motif program


i just got a sample program in motif from the web ("helloworld.c")
and the compilation command is given as
gcc helloworld.c -o helloworld -lXm -lXt -lXext -lICE -lSM -lX11
i installed the open motif rpms
and tried this command

but the following error occured
/usr/bin/ld : cannot find lXm
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

please help me

at a guess, gcc helloworld.c -o helloworld -L/usr/X11R6/lib -lXm -lXt -lXext -lICE -lSM -lX11

if that doesnt work find libXm.so and add -L/path/to/lib
