PHP Varibles

Hi.

I'am wondering if you can anyway create your own server varibles in PHP. Or any other type of variable to do the same job.

I would like to have a variable that I don't need to created when some enters the webpage (like session). In fact I would like to create a XML file (for example) and when PHP/Apache is reloaded the new setting will be loaded and used.

/Krister
