PHP: secure login system

Does anybody know of a login class which provides the following features:
  • authentification against a SQL database
  • table, columns can be freely chosen
  • verification upon each request
    (not trusting session data, etc)
  • different user levels with different permissions
  • posibility to define callback function for login form display

I'm simply asking because after Googling a while I didn't come accross anything useful and reinventing the wheel is of course of no use :-)

Hi

Check on hotscripts.com or PEAR. I don't know for sure but they should have one that meets your needs.
