php configuration on Slackware 10
I'm trying to learn php and wrote the following php page,

<title>test page</title>
echo 'testing php';

I discovered that php won't print anything to the browser and I believe it is a problem with the configuration on Slack because the same page works fine under fedora. Anyway help will be appreciated.

If you view the source of the page having accessed the page through your web server does it still look the same as what you have posted above?

Yeas, it does. Now, I know it's not supposed to do that, so how do I rectify this.

Ok, sorted
I have finally got a solution. Apache wasn't configured to include mod_php.conf. After I uncommented the line relevant to mod_php.conf, it works like a charm.
