php 4.2 - 4.3 update prob

Hi All

i'm running php 4.2.2 on Red Hat 9 at the moment, and need to upgrade to php 4.3.*

i've searched the php website but can only find source code. i've searched google and still can't find a rpm to upgrade my system. does anyone have a link where i can get the relevant rpm???

if not i'll have to build from source by the looks of it. if i do have to, do i have to first remove php4.2.2?

all and any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

There are no official PHP 4.3 RPMs for RedHat. You probably need to compile it.

You don't need to remove your old PHP version before installing new one. In fact, they can co-exist. At last you can keep the older version until you're sure the new one works correctly.
