Please try google : 'perl-5.10.0 perlcc' (without quote marks)
and read that Debian will make a patch and other comments.
And have a look in the source code :
Quote:
[knudfl@tmp]$ grep perlcc perl-5.10.0/*
perl-5.10.0/Changes: Log: Remove references to perlcc from the core docs.
perl-5.10.0/Changes: Log: Remove perlcc and the byteloader
perl-5.10.0/pod/perl5005delta.pod:C<perlcc> is a simple frontend for compiling perl.
perl-5.10.0/pod/perl5005delta.pod:C<perlcc>, a new experimental front end for the compiler is available.
perl-5.10.0/pod/perl581delta.pod:C<perlcc -B> works now at least somewhat better, while C<perlcc -c>
perl-5.10.0/pod/perl581delta.pod:C<perlcc -c>) is even more broken than it used to be because of...
perl-5.10.0/pod/perltoc.pod:=item Removal of the bytecode compiler and of perlcc
perlcc is not compiled by default, may be there is an option to do so,
I didn't find one, but try it yourself.
